According to the Xbox Wire, the title will be available on console starting May 7. It will not be coming to Game Pass for PC at the same time; there is no word yet if it will sometime in the future.
Though it was just added to Game Pass in January, RDR2’s modern cousin, Grand Theft Auto 5, will leave the service on May 7. Those that want to purchase the game can purchase GTA5 for $24 (20% off the retail price).
Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently available for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. We reviewed both the console and PC versions, receiving a 9/10 and a 10/10 respectively. We gave the game high marks across the board, but specifically for story, scale, and gameplay.
Though the game’s online mode, Red Dead Online, wasn’t the GTA Online we were hoping for at launch, it has remained widely popular with the RDR2 fanbase. Rockstar has churned out steady quality updates since release.
