Like Rockstar’s flagship series, RDR2 cheats will disable accomplishments on PC, trophies on PS4, and achievements on Xbox One. You will also not be able to save. However, that’s the price of using cheat codes in Rockstar’s titles and shouldn’t stop you from playing around with them.

How to Use Cheat Codes Red Dead Redemption 2
Normally, you can find cheats/cheat codes in newspapers scattered throughout the game. Others are found in the game world, such as in caves. But you don’t have to find them in newspapers or in the world to use them. The list below collects them all for you.
To use them, though, you’ll first need to access the cheat menu. To do this simply:
Open the Settings menu “Left Shift” on PC “Y” on Xbox One “Triangle” on PS4
In this menu, you will see a list of locked cheats (unless you have previously unlocked them through newspapers, etc.). To unlock cheats, hit:
“Left Shift” again on PC “Y” again on Xbox One “Triangle” again on PS4
Type the cheat code you wish to unlock, and you should get a notification informing you that the cheat is unlocked. Once you’ve unlocked a cheat, simply find it in the menu and select it to activate it or deactivate it. Just remember those restrictions we discussed!
